The Beginning...

girl with many caps

This all started in the summer of 2007 when my dear friend Kathy heard about the need for chemo caps for breast cancer patients. Being very involved in the cause, Kathy jumped right in and volunteered to make some. She quickly recruited several friends. That is when things took off. We now have a group of people who knit, crochet, “Knifty Knit” and machine sew. And boy do they make caps! Our current count is over 16,000 and the caps are now available for all types of cancer patients.
